Matt Tootle signs up for another season with Boston United, with manager Craig Elliott delighted to retain influential defender
Boston United can look forward to more of Matt Tootle's influence on and off the field after the defender penned a new contract with the club.
The former Crewe Alexandra and Notts County full back will have an important role to play at the Jakemans Community Stadium after agreeing to stay for a second season.

Hide Ad"I love that experience in the dressing room," manager Craig Elliott explained.
"He passes on really good information to others and when he talks it makes sense and people listen. I like that in senior players."
But it is of course on the pitch where Tootle, 30, wil be even more keen to make his mark
"I thought he was one of our better players just befofe the season stopped," Elliott continued.

Hide Ad"You could see was getting better and fitter, sharper, stronger every game.
"He was really on it and I was really pleased with him. You could see the quality he has."
Tootle started every league game for United last season, making a total of 15 appearances.
