Picnic to celebrate Jubilee in Anston
Anston Parish Council have organised a fun-filled event for all the community to enjoy in the grounds of Anston Parish Hall from 12pm-3pm.
Residents are being invited to bring along a picnic and enjoy all the activities on offer.

Hide AdAnston Cricket Club are holding a charity cricket match, while local charities, groups and organisations will have a variety of stalls.
There will be face painting, balloons, races, competitions and live music amongst the many other attractions.
John Mallinder will also be leading a guided walk through Anston Stones, starting at 1pm.
Residents are also being encouraged to get into the spirit of the day by dressing up in a royal theme.

Hide AdVice chairman of Anston Parish Council, Judy Dalton said: “The team of volunteers and councillors who have put this ‘Picnic on the Rec’ together have done a remarkable job to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.”
“What better setting than the green recreation ground with views of the charity cricket match, a jazz band and the opportunity for the community to come together for an enjoyable event for all ages.”
