Parish church's award-winning floral display
Entitled ‘Open Church’ and created by Karen Barnes and a team of Interflora florists, the floral installation stood at over five metres tall, reflecting the elegant architecture of a church’s exterior and interior, inspired by the firm’s local St Denys’ Church.
The full exhibit had included intricate floral church bells, windows and chandeliers.

Kate Mollart, Brand Manager from Interflora, explained: “The church was keen to have a display having been the inspiration for the winning design.”
The window was on display in St Denys’ Church for the whole weekend before returning to Interflora’s office for a few days.
Rev Phillip Johnson said: “The title ‘open church’ can be interpreted in so many ways but it sums up what we do here - open seven days a week, accessible to everyone - and flowers make it special for so many occasions.”
