Chief Constable Bill Skelly has released a statement to the people of Lincolnshire, after the UK threat level was raised from '˜severe' to '˜critical' following the Manchester terror attack.

Chief Constable Skelly said: “On Tuesday night, the UK threat level was raised from severe to critical, meaning a further attack could be imminent.

“Here in Lincolnshire, our ‘daily business’ does not change and we continue to police professionally and engagingly. We have made some changes in response to the escalation in the threat level.
