Art sale at St Mary's Church

Tuesday - AS part of the carnival celebrations a sale of paintings will be exhibited at St Mary's Church, Winthorpe.

These original paintings are by local amateur and professional artists using many different mediums.

There will also be a display of handmade wooden clocks.

The Mayor of Skegness, Coun Neil Pimperton, will open the art preview evening on Friday, August 8, at 7.30pm with a cheese and wine evening. Entrance £3.

The exhibition will run from August 9 to August 16, from 11am-5pm. Entrance £1.

Terry Nash, a local artist has produced a calendar to raise money for cancer research. He will be exhibiting 12 acrylic paintings featured in the calendar, the proceeds of these sales will also go to Cancer Research UK.
