NOSTALGIA: Spec-quack-ular fundraiser in 1990
An army of yellow ducks leapt into the river, swimming from the footbridge to the Town Bridge this week in 1990... and an army of boatmen was needed to retrieve the rubber ducks before they headed out to the Wash.
Members of the Boston Junior Chamber were aiming to raise £500 from the event to donate to Boston Sea Cadets.
Members of the public were able to enter a duck into the race with a chance of winning an Oldrids voucher.
