No regrets! Man of the moment Jay Rollins is loving life at Boston United
The youngster was snapped up by Dennis Greene after impressing on a trial, set up by chief scout Richard Boryszczuk.
On his arrival, Rollins - who had been turning out for Armthorpe Welfare - was touted by the United manager as a rough diamond and ‘one for the future’.

Hide AdHowever, the rugged, no-nonsense and direct winger has made himself very much part of the Pilgrims’ squad this season, making 25 appearances and scoring four goals to date - two of those finishes coming in the past two matches.
And Rollins says he is glad he decided to try his luck with United in the summer.
“I’m glad I came here,” he told The Standard.
“I’m loving it at the minute, the lads are great, I’m doing well, I feel like I’m doing well.
“I’m getting better as a player as well and it’s good.”
Rollins will now be hoping to make an impact as the Pilgrims face a series of tough challenges which will push their National League North play-off hopes.
