The first of the new coins will be unveiled later this month

The Royal Mint has announced a special collection of Harry Potter coins to mark the 25th anniversary of the publication of the first book in the series.

The coins will be the latest range focused on childhood characters, following on from fan favourites including Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland and The Snowman.
